These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Lauren Wegner LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Lauren Wegner Wellness ("we," "us," or "our").
They apply when you visit laurenwegner.com, download a free guide, attend a webinar, submit an application, or otherwise use anything we make available. By doing any of those things, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 years old. By using the site you confirm that you are, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Everything published here — articles, guides, quizzes, webinars, and social media content — is general education. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from your own physician or licensed healthcare provider. Using this site does not create a nurse–patient or provider–patient relationship between you and Lauren Wegner or Lauren Wegner LLC.
Lauren Wegner is a licensed Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) and holds certification in functional nutrition and functional medicine laboratory interpretation. Through Lauren Wegner Wellness she acts as a health coach and functional nutrition practitioner — not as your nurse and not as your medical provider. This practice does not provide nursing services, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment of any disease or condition.
Functional lab testing referenced on this site is used for wellness and educational purposes. It is not diagnostic, does not replace testing ordered by your physician, and should never be used to self-diagnose. Reference ranges differ between laboratories, and some functional tests are not FDA-cleared for diagnostic use.
Any supplement mentioned is a dietary supplement. Statements about supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and no supplement is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Supplements can interact with medications. Please review anything you plan to take with your physician or pharmacist.
Any outcome described on this site, in a testimonial, in a case example, or on social media reflects that individual's experience and is not a promise or guarantee of your results. Results are not typical, are not guaranteed, and depend on factors outside our control — including how consistently a plan is followed.

If you give us a testimonial or review, you permit us to publish it, in whole or edited for length, alongside your first name and last initial or as otherwise agreed. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and we will remove it from material we control going forward.
If you send us suggestions, ideas, proposals, or other material we did not ask for, we may use it without restriction, without compensating you, and without any obligation to keep it confidential. Please don't send us anything you consider proprietary or want to be paid for.
We may — but are not required to — monitor, edit, or remove anything posted to our pages that we consider unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for anything you post, and it must not infringe anyone else's rights or contain malicious code.

These Terms cover the website and free resources. If you enroll in a coaching program, that relationship is governed by a separate Client Services Agreement setting out scope of services, fees, payment schedule, cancellation, refunds, and confidentiality. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Client Services Agreement controls.
Submitting an application does not create a client relationship or guarantee acceptance. We take a limited number of clients and may decline any application at our discretion.
Guides, quizzes, webinars, and similar materials are offered as general education. They are not personalized advice, are not tailored to your circumstances, and carry no guarantee of any particular outcome. We may change or withdraw them at any time.
Program pricing, structure, inclusions, and availability may change at any time without notice. Any change applies to new enrollments — it does not alter the fee or terms already agreed in a signed Client Services Agreement.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site or our services at any time, and we are not liable to you or anyone else for doing so.
Refund and cancellation terms for coaching programs are set out in full in the Client Services Agreement you review and sign before enrolling. Nothing is charged before that agreement is signed, and you will never be asked to commit to a figure you have not seen in writing.
Free resources cost nothing and there is nothing to refund.
We link to other websites and provide access to third-party tools, including laboratory portals, scheduling systems, payment processing, and social platforms.
We do not control those services. They are provided "as is," without warranty or endorsement of any kind, and we have no liability arising from your use of them. A link is not a recommendation. Please read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service before you use it, and direct any complaint about a third-party product to that provider.
Occasionally the site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions — including in descriptions of programs, pricing, or availability. We reserve the right to correct these and to update or cancel anything affected by an error, at any time, without prior notice.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or to any free resource at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we otherwise consider it appropriate. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
We provide the site "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed the greater of $100 or the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lauren Wegner LLC, Lauren Wegner, and our contractors and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, or reasonable attorneys' fees brought by a third party arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If it cannot be, the state and federal courts located in Santa Cruz County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there.
Nothing in these Terms requires either of us to use private arbitration. Claims within the applicable limit may be brought in small claims court.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Please check back periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and severed from the rest, which remains in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the website, and supersede any prior understanding on that subject.
